Department of Oral Medicine

Oral medicine and diagnosis is the face of Khyber college of Dentistry, where patient initially visit and present with orofacial diseases. We receive more than 300 patients per day which are thoroughly examined by the experienced staff of our OPD. The diagnosis of oral diseases is established and patients are referred to concerned departments for further management.
We have state of the art diagnostic facilities like digital periapical x-ray, 2 OPG machines and 1 Cone beam computed tomography by planmeca, Finland. Around 200 periapiacal x-rays, more than 100 OPG and 25 to 30 CBCT services are provided on daily basis. For patient’s convenience, X-rays department work from 8.00 am to 7.00 pm.
